While the area of carbon assessment and trading is still in a degree of flux to some extent, Bioregen can potentially link you and your business with landowners, farmers and forestry operators with a view to establishing long-term carbon-offset arrangements.

Accurate estimation of carbon sequestration in forestry is more advanced than conventional agriculture but ongoing research is starting to give us more data as to sequestration at farm level which is transferable elsewhere.

While we currently can use various estimates for calculation purposes it is hoped that there will be a universally-recognised structure for valuing carbon savings in the near future.
